Saron has dedicated herself to supporting underrepresented communities and those in need of guidance navigating important yet complicated systems. She has worked and collaborated with many non-profit organizations and state and government agencies such as: YWCA Clark County, Volunteers of America, Department of Community Justice, law enforcement agencies, and Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office. Saron was a voice and a face for the Spanish Speaking Domestic Violence Women’s Program for 9 years, was on the Board of Directors for the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence, was on the Chief of Police’s Diversity Council, taught Eliminating Racism Workshops. Taught classes at many local colleges, universities, and community organizations about domestic violence.
